Join us as we travel into the heart of France through Paris and then dive into the beautiful French country-side. Our team will guide you through beautiful scenery, cultural experiences, delicious French food and wine and access to exclusive clubs and coaches. Our group packages include guided excursions, sport lessons from professional coaches, wine and culinary experiences and overnight stays in a historic chateaus and castles. Travel groups are kept small and private to give you a one-on-one experience with our team.
Sylvain was born in a charming city of Aurillac and raised in Narbonne, France, an elegant southern town that hugs the Mediterranean. Sylvain grew up with an appreciation for French cuisine which eventually followed his interest in wine. Sylvain became a wine connoisseur with extensive knowledge about wine from all around the world, especially all the French wine, having traveled to all the beautiful French wine regions, from Burgundy, Champagne, Bordeaux, Provence, Alsace, Corsica to Languedoc. After coaching in different regions of France and helping with the French federation, Sylvain began his tennis coaching career in the US as an assistant coach at Clemson University in 2001, where he helped the team reaching two Final Four and winning the ACC.
From there Sylvain became the head coach at the University of Nevada, Reno from 2006-2011. He coached the men’s and women’s and helped the women’s reach their highest national team ranking and make the ITA quick off.
Sylvain was then recruited by the San Jose Spartan's to coach women's tennis until 2016, a place where he guided the team to their first ever conference championship and NCAA.
Sylvain and his family returned to Reno to coach the men's tennis team at Nevada. He enjoys playing tennis, and other sports with his 6-year-old Lohan and 4-year-old Milo, he and his wife Adrienne enjoy traveling and cooking.
Philippe was born and raised in Paris, France giving him access and a love of French urban culture. Philippe has played tennis since the age of 4 and was recruited by Mississippi State University when he turned 17. As the captain, Philippe led the MSU tennis program to reach the top 20 in NCAA Div 1 (Philippe was individually ranked 14 in NCAA singles). Upon receiving his degree in Business Management Philippe went on to play 3 years of professional tennis, travelling to nearly 50 countries. Philippe reached the 714th spot in the world and played top players like Gael Monfils, Richard Gasquet, and Jo-Wilfriend Tsonga (with which whom he practiced for a year at the French Federation in Poitiers). In 2010 he enrolled at the University of Nevada Reno to obtain his MBA. In parallel of studying, Sylvain Malroux offered Philippe the assistant coach position for both, the men's and women's tennis team. After graduating from UNR, Philippe took a job with Microsoft and worked there for 6 years. In 2017, he left the multinational company to focus on his passion for entrepreneurship and sharing experiences with others. Philippe created several companies (Puzzle Room Reno & Break Through Reno among others) that provide a unique and fun experience for family and friends.
Philippe enjoys traveling to new places, trying and sharing new experiences, spending time with his family (his wife Sumiko, his 12 year old step-daughter Kylee and his 2 year old daughter Lily), and being actively involved in the sports community.
Taylor was born and raised in San Diego, California. While he sampled a variety of sports in his early years, Taylor transitioned to competitive golf by the age of 10. The college golf recruitment process landed him at the University of Nevada, Reno in 2006. During his four years as a member of the Wolf Pack golf team, Taylor was named the Western Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year and Player of the Year in the 06-07 season and was a two-time NCAA Academic All-American. After finishing his college athletics career and undergraduate studies in Mathematics, he remained at Nevada to pursue his masters degree in Applied Mathematics.
In 2013, Coffman got married along the shores of Lake Tahoe and then moved across the Atlantic to settle in Paris, France with his wife Audrey - a former Nevada women's tennis player. He has since embraced the French culture, in particular French wine. When not enjoying a nice meal and a glass of wine, Taylor is a math teacher at The American University of Paris and also works with French high school students in their preparation to enter top American universities.
He and his wife enjoy visiting France's wine regions and tasting with small family wine domaines. He remains an avid golf fan and holds a keen interest in golf course architecture. Taylor and Audrey have been blessed to spend the past 6 months with their baby boy Ethan.
Bob is the 2018 Pickleball World Champion in his age category as he just won (in October 2018) the 'Huntsman World Senior Games' 5.0. Bob is passionate about Pickleball and loves to share his love for the game with anyone enjoying the sport!
Bob was an amazing tennis player (ex-professional player) but found for the past few years an even better passion and interest for Pickleball. For the past 8 years, Bob has been enjoying Pickleball as a player and a coach. He is an IPTPA (International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association) member and love to help players in Reno or Northstar improving their Pickleball game.
His pickleball Playing Experience speaks for itself. To name a few of Bob's latest achievements: 2017 USAPA National Championships Silver Medal, Doubles, 2017 International Championships Gold Medal, Singles, 2018 Tustin Gold and Silver Medal, Doubles and Mixed, 8 time Gold Medalist Reno Senior Games, 2017 Bay Area Senior Games Gold Medal, Gold medal at the “Huntsman World Senior Games” 5.0, (60 plus) Men’s Singles and Silver Medal in Mens 5.0, (60 plus) Men’s Doubles
In his spare time, Bob is helping coach the Men's Tennis Team at the University of Nevada, enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 kids (Gavin and Lindy) and play Pickleball
